Be You Tee Design was started in 2020 by Fashion Designer Cordayne Jourdan Wander - returning to Fashion Design at the height of the pandemic Cordayne had previous brands and ventures in the Fashion industry before temporarily working in the corporate and hospitality sector to fund his business. After experiencing life altering inconveniences, set backs and trials and tribulations as well as feeling underwhelmed with the current job market and available opportunities to him also being faced with staying home during the pandemic, he decided to get reacquainted with his passions to help him get through lockdown.

He managed to start editing his fashion sketches into colour and then took his flowing creativity further by creating art work on his small but efficient iPhone - the response to these art works were very positive and he was encouraged and advised that they should be printed on clothing and put up for sale in his online store. Cordayne created social media accounts for Be You tee Design, an Etsy account and also a TikTok shop to showcase his designs to the world and prospective clients and shoppers.

Print on Demand is a quickly growing alternative to fast fashion which really does champion sustainability in fashion by significantly reducing the over production of retail items and preventative measures to reduce and eventually eradicate fashion waste which is the main issue surrounding sustainability in the fashion industry by printing and delivering items as they are bought - this made to order business model allowed Cordayne to stay ahead of the curve of sustainable fashion and is giving his brand the real prospect of being one of the pioneering sustainable brands coming out of the British fashion industry.
